Terms & Conditions

To rent a vehicle from M's Car Rentals, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License: You must possess a valid national driver's license
• Identification: A valid passport or government-issued ID is required
• Temporary Driving Permit: Foreign visitors require a St. Lucia temporary driving permit (USD $25), which will be provided by M's Car Rentals at pickup
• Credit Card: A valid credit card in the renter's name is required for the security deposit

• Minimum Rental: The minimum rental period is 3 days
• Daily Rates: Range from $55-$70 USD per day depending on vehicle selection
• Rental Day: Each rental day is calculated as a 24-hour period from the time of pickup
• Late Returns: Returns exceeding 1 hour past the agreed time may incur additional daily charges
• Early Returns: No refunds will be provided for early vehicle returns

A USD $500 card hold will be placed on your credit card as a security deposit at the time of vehicle pickup.

• This is a temporary authorization hold, not an actual charge
• The hold will be released within 5-10 business days after the vehicle is returned safely and passes inspection
• If the vehicle is returned with damage, the deposit may be used to cover repair costs
• Additional charges beyond the deposit amount may apply for significant damage
• The renter is responsible for all damage, regardless of fault, unless optional insurance coverage is purchased

Driving Rules:

• Driving in St. Lucia is on the LEFT-HAND SIDE of the road
• All traffic laws of Saint Lucia must be obeyed at all times
• Seat belts must be worn by all occupants
• The use of mobile phones while driving is prohibited

Prohibited Uses:

• Operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Allowing unlicensed or unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Using the vehicle for racing, off-road driving, or any illegal activities
• Transporting passengers for hire (taxi services)
• Towing other vehicles or trailers
• Smoking inside the vehicle (cleaning fee applies)
• Transporting pets without prior approval
• Taking the vehicle off-island or on ferries

• Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel
• Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel
• If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will apply at current market rates plus a service fee
• All our vehicles use regular unleaded gasoline unless otherwise specified

Pickup Locations:

• Fond Manger, Marigot
• Herelle Estate, Laborie
• Alternative pickup/drop-off locations may be arranged upon request

Vehicle Inspection:

• A condition report will be completed at pickup documenting any existing damage
• You are encouraged to inspect the vehicle thoroughly and note any concerns
• Upon return, the vehicle will be inspected for new damage
• Any new damage not documented at pickup will be the renter's responsibility

• Basic third-party liability insurance is included with all rentals
• The renter is liable for all damage to the rental vehicle during the rental period
• The renter is responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period
• M's Car Rentals is not liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle
• We are not responsible for trip delays, missed flights, or other consequential damages

• More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund
• 24-48 hours before pickup: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund
• No-show: No refund and full rental charges may apply

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to bookings@msrides.com or via WhatsApp.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saint Lucia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint Lucia.
